Cervicitis is one of the common gynecological diseases, which includes inflammation of the vaginal part of the cervix and inflammation of the mucous membrane of the cervical canal. Because the squamous epithelium of the vaginal part of the cervix is continuous with the vaginal squamous epithelium, vaginitis can also cause inflammation of the vaginal part of the cervix. Due to the single-layer columnar epithelium of the mucous membrane in the cervical canal, its ability to resist infection is relatively poor, making it susceptible to infections. The clinically common form of cervicitis is acute mucous membrane inflammation of the cervical canal; if acute cervicitis is not treated in time or the pathogen persists, it can lead to chronic cervicitis.
It is recommended to perform moxibustion once a day, targeting 2 to 3 acupoints each time, with each acupoint being treated for 30 to 40 minutes. Rotate the points treated, with a 10-day period constituting one course of treatment, and then rest for 2 to 3 days before continuing with the next course.
(If time permits and there is a need, more acupoints can be treated with moxibustion. The specific duration should be adjusted according to one's own physical needs.)
1. Pay attention to personal hygiene, take frequent baths, change underwear regularly, and avoid using unclean washing tools.
2. Pay attention to menstrual hygiene, use qualified sanitary pads, and get enough rest.
3. Strengthen the physique to enhance the body's ability to resist diseases, and avoid taking weight loss medications indiscriminately.
4. Be mindful to prevent sexually transmitted infections, and refrain from sexual intercourse during menstruation.
5. Ensure a balanced diet without being picky or having a one-sided preference for certain foods.
6. Avoiding early, excessive, or frequent childbirth and abortions is also an effective way to prevent cervicitis.
